Usage

The template generates diagrams of transport systems, such as railways, canals, footpaths, roads and so on.

Row format

The map is composed by rows from top to bottom. Each row may contain one or more icons horizontally and description text for explanation for that row. The basic format for each row is as follows:

Icon ID~~Main text

For more text cells:

Icon ID~~Time distance text~~Main text~~note 1~~note 2

• If you want to skip the middle text cell for the next text cell, you must use a white space between the text separators (~~), otherwise the wiki software will regard it as a user signature magicword, which overrides other functions.

For more icons on the same row, use backslash (\) to separate between icon IDs:

Icon ID 1\Icon ID 2\Icon ID 3

The alignment and font size of each text cell is defined differently, but they can be overridden by using {{align}} template or span/div style. By default:

• "Time distance": right, smaller size
• "Main text": left, normal size
• "Note 1" left next to "main text", smaller font size
• "Note 2" right, smaller size

You may use <br/> or {{BSsplit}} template to hard return the text in the same row as shown in the above example. It is usually done in the "time distance" and "note 2" cells because they use smaller font so the height of row will not be lengthened, avoiding break between icons vertically.
